Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah). Each of these sections have entries for PREMISES AVAILABLE, PREMISES

Ikaar.com is dedicated to property in Dubai and is sponsored by the Dubai Development Board. It contains property rental from a number of real estate agencies
UAEMall.com also has an online listing of property in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain from its real estate affiliates, Asteco (Dubai), Al Ghanem Real Estate

payments. If the accomodation is taken through a property agency, then a fee will be paid to them, which will vary depending on the cost of the premises. Utilities bills
have to be paid by the tenant and most you will need to pay a refunable deposit to start using water, electricity, and gas.
Dubai Freehold Property
Information previously found here about owning property in the Dubai has moved here.
Owning Property in UAE
You need to be a UAE or GCC national in order to buy property in the UAE. Owning property in Dubai was newly announced in May 2002 by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom,
permitting expats buying property on 100% freehold ownership, but this is only available currently in downtown Dubai and Jumeira. The purchase of property is on freehold
basis, which means that the property is put in your name for life, and you have the right to sell, lease or rent your property at your own discretion. Property owners and
their immediate family, will obtain renewable residence visas, which can cost Dhs. 5,000 per person.
A number of real estate companies have started the freehold property ownership, and the most well known of these companies is EMAAR Properties. Their
properties include the Dubai Marina (Marina Crown, Al Seef Tower, Manchester Tower, Sahab Twin Towers), Emirates Living (Emirates Hill, The Meadows, The Springs, The Lakes,
The Green), Arabian Ranches (Gazelle), and Emaar Towers. Property can also be bought from Damac Properties, including Marina Terrace and The Waves, and Lake Terrace.
Al Nakheel Properties also has freehold properties available, and the most well known of these properties is The
Palm Islands. The Palm Island consists of two man-made islands, the Palm Jumeirah and the Palm Jebel Ali, and they are also refered to as the eighth wonder of the world.
Owning property at the Jumeirah Beach Residence has also started.
