As Dubai's government is trying to achieve a total e-government, it has setup a website for their traffic police department. One of the services provided at the website is the payment of traffic tickets. For individuals with a Dubai driver's license, you can pay for all traffic tickets. For individuals with a driver's license from any of the other emirates, you will be able to pay only for traffic tickets that were issued in Dubai. You can also check tickets by a car's license plate or by a ticket's number.

Abu Dhabi Police has also started up an online service to view and pay for traffic fines. Visit the Abu Dhabi Police website and click on their section for Electronic Services.
