Dubai Municipality LogoThe Dubai Municipality constructed a large used car complex at Al-Awir Industrial Area, Dubai, UAE (United Arab Emirates) to support the growing trade of used cars in the emirate. Unlike the used car area in sharjah, the Al Awir complex is located outside the central city area.

Location
The first way to find the complex is by heading towards the Al Awir Used Car Complex Location MapDubai International Airport from the Clock Tower Roundabout. After passing the airport, which will be on your left hand side, you will reach a street light. At the light, keep going straight until the next street light. At the light, turn right, which is now Nadd Al Hamar Road, and head straight to the next street light. At the light, continue straight which will lead to an overpass, which you should go over. You will then come to a street light where you will see the complex infront of you, to your left. To enter the complex, you will need to make a left turn at the light and then make the first right turn that comes. The other route to get to the complex is by heading towards Al Wasl Hospital along the Oud Metha Road. When you come to the Bu Kirda Roundabout, turn left and head along the Ras Al Khoor Road (also known as the Al Aweer Road, which is the road that heads to Hatta), until you come to the first over-head bridge. At the bridge, turn right and then left at the first street light. The car complex will be on your right hand side.

The complex is located right beside the Dubai Cars and Automotive Zone (DUCAMZ), which is Dubai's automobile Freezone. The free zone deals in the distribution of left-hand drive vehicles into the local market and the re-export of right-hand drive vehicles to mainly India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and other African countries.
